*** Successful Opening night at BPIC ***

Last night, Thursday 8th September was the opening night at BPIC for the new Season. There was a virtually full house with plenty of new members, with a display of prints from existing members, and an explanation of what is involved in Club Photography from the Chairman, Ross McKelvey.
An added bonus was the display of Paul Hanley's LRPS panel, and the three ARPS panels from Donal McCann, Barry Lau and Ross McKelvey.
Explanations of what is involved in going for these distinctions from the various bodies were outlined, whether it be from the Royal Photographic Society, the Irish Photographic Federation, or the PAGB.
Lots of new members signed up for the Season, so if you are thinking about signing up and have not done so, you should attend within the next 2 weeks. It is likely that membership will be closed 3-4 weeks into the Season.
