Grand Opera House

28th January 2012
On Saturday 28th January, 18 BPIC'ers visited the Grand Opera House in Belfast for a tour with photographic opportunities. The tour was extremely interesting and we also gained access to many parts of the building normally inaccessible to the general public. We even got to walk on top of the ornate ceiling! One of my personal highlights was standing on stage with the curtain slowly raising to reveal the beautiful auditorium.

Many thanks to Adam Knight and John Campbell for taking the time to show us around. Also to the production management of "Stones in his Pockets" for allowing us access to the wings and stage.

Thanks to Jaime for organising this outing!
