Photographic Web Resources

The web is a wonderful place to research cameras and lenses, and camera accessories when you are considering a new purchase. Here are some of the better sites:

http://www.dcviews.com/ - click on 'cameras' on the left hand side menu, and then click on a manufacturer such as Canon, Nikon, etc and you can find links to all the reviews of any particular camera model. Excellent resource.

http://www.dpreview.com/ - Another great photographic website, with discussion forums for each main camera manufacturer, and information on all camera models available.

http://www.the-digital-picture.com/ - Great for Canon users. Look at the lens reviews in particular, when considering a new purchase.

http://www.luminous-landscape.com/essays/ - Lots of hands-on information on everything from cameras to lenses to printers and colour management etc

http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/02/welcome-to-strobist.html - learn all there is to know about off-camera flash
