NIPA Novice Competition 2011/2012

NIPA held the Annual Novice Competition at Bangor Camera Club on Tuesday 17 January. BPIC Member Stephen Wilson won the Colour Print Section and came second in the PDI Section. Congratulations to Stephen, who now joins the ranks of the Advanced Section according to NIPA Rules.
Stephen had already shown great promise last Season when winning a NIPA Star with a PDI in one of the inter-Club Rounds, and was very likely to join the Advanced Section in any event at the end of this Season.
Other BPIC members also did well in the competition - Karen McCrea came 3rd in the very competitive Mono Prints Section, and several members got Commended or Highly Commended Entries.
