BPIC Programme 2010 2011
During the close season, members are encouraged to arrange informal get-togethers, whether it be weekend landscape outings, evening sunsets, 'strobist' style shoots using off-camera flash, trips to events at the Ulster American Folk Park, the Folk & Transport Museum at Cultra, etc etc. Use the close season to gather plenty of photographs to process using the skills you have learnt during the camera club season, and gather plenty of material for next Year's Competitions! Or why not consider applying for the LRPS or CPAGB?

| 15-Sep | Bring your cameras - Basic fundamentals of DSLR controls; More advanced Functions such as white balance, bracketing, focus points, AV mode etc. (Dave Donnelly) |
| 22-Sep | Basic Photoshop Skills. Cropping; Re-sizing; adjustment layers and masks; Maybe bring own laptops and work on same image as Ross. |
| 29-Sep | NIPA Round 1 Selection Evening - OPEN subject |
| 06-Oct | BPIC Portrait Night using off-camera flash. A chance to meet and photograph other members. |

| 27-Oct | NIPA Round 2 Selection Evening - BIG Prints (50cm x 40cm) |
| 03-Nov | Panel Competition - FOUR DPI's to a theme of your choice. Images to be shot specifically for the competition (ie no old images taken from existing work) |
| 10-Nov | Photoshop Night - Workflow demonstrating process from Raw file, through lightroom and into Photoshop, to final Print. Ross will demonstrate based on a Starred Print. |
| 17-Nov | Still Life & Macro evening - Bring any interesting items for a still life/macro practical evening. |
| 24-Nov | 50mm prime and Phone Camera competition. Anyone who does not have a 50mm lens can enter the phone competition. All images to be presented as PDI's. |
